ALL OF THESE HAVE STRUCK SINCE FEB12th..ALL OVER 5.0

So is it just a coincidence when Matthew said: Earthquakes will increase in the End Times?
Not coincidence. We're just wearing the planet out. :)

Of all the discussions and theory's that address the end times, there is only one thing that sticks in the back of my mind. They are, in fact coming, just not here yet. We have the single union of the heads to worry about, the anti Christ and a whole other series of things to do. What bothers me is that in order to have this single union or government, there is going to have to be mass devastation to warrant such a thing, and I mean massive. Why else would America, China and a country so proud as Russia sign such an agreement. Gonna get worse?! OMG you have no idea.
Reply:You know there's dozens of these across the world every day, right?
Reply:since the dawn of time there have been earthquakes on this planet. since the day it was created/formed. Always have been always will be, at least until the earth is a dead hunk of rock. We just have CNN to cover them all. I really can't believe you would even consider using earthquakes to validate your belief that the end days are here. The tsunami that killed 200k was caused by a serious earthquake but in the mid 70's there was an earthquake in china that killed 300k. War, famine, pestilence, earthquakes. We will always have these. Your claim regarding earthquakes is ridiculous. There is NO evidence that they are occuring with more frequency or intensity than they did a million years ago.

Here is a website that I have been looking at everyday for the last 5 years. I saw the indonesian earthquake within an hour of it occuring. Lots of info here. All science, all fact.
Reply:Is it a coincidence that MANY others made the same kind of predictions.

There's nothing supernatural about earthquakes.
Reply:Sit down relax and think for one moment, the world is what 4 or 5 billion years old maybe even older, and mankind maybe 1 or 2 hundred thousand years old, and now all of a sudden it's all going to end, common sense and logic tells this man it's insane nonsense, and religious fear mongering that's all, hey the world is evolving and changing 24-7 and has for millions of years and some ding bat thinks they have the answer to the end, I wouldn't embarrass myself over such insane nonsense.
Reply:I don't think that anything in the Bible is a coincidence.
Reply:No ma'am. These are the end times in my opinion.
Reply:Ty must be getting some then. Good for him. :)

Good job Larry! Great minds...you know. :)
Reply:LOL at the first two answers! I was just gonna post that!

LMAO
Reply:Wow, you really are an endearing little thing, aren't you?

There are thousands of earthquakes going on at any given moment, all over the world. Most of them undersea. We don't necessarily notice (or care) about the smaller ones.

I'd bet money that you know nothing about earthquakes beyond what you gathered from news based websites.
Reply:We may think its the end,

but they also thought it was the end 50 yrs ago....

It will get WAYYYYY worst than this.

It tells about the end times in Revalation and what has to happen first.
Reply:Matthew was a tax collector. Don't believe me? Read the Gospel of Matthew.

Now if you're asking me whether a tax collector was accurate in his description of geological events, I would have to answer

"Who gives a rat's a$$?"
Reply:Earthquakes happen everyday, ones we feel and ones we don't. Yes I am a Bible believer, but these earthquakes you have shown are not unusual. Those areas are all on heavy fault lines, which keep shifting tectonic plates.
Reply:There are earthquakes every day, all over the planet.

C%26amp;C, have you ever wondered WHY you want the End TImes to occur during your lifetime? Just curious.
Reply:Matthew speaks of earthquakes ocurring shortly before the temple (that was standing at the time) would be destroyed. Those earthquakes ocurred, and the temple was destroyed. In fact, the Romans took it apart stone by stone just as Matthew claimed.

If you'd like to read the details of it, read War of the Jews here:

http://www.ccel.org/j/josephus/works/JOS...

Those earthquakes happened two thousand years ago, and there's no need for worrying about them now.

.
Reply:So what evidence do you have that it is "increasing"? Compared to what historical data?
Reply:No, it's not a coincidence. Don't you know that the statement is a prophetic statement given by a supreme prophet?
Reply:well look for the other signs too. the temple of Jerusalem needs to be rebuilt. One of the worst earthquakes was in San Francisco, 1906. People may have thought the end was near then but here we are 100+ years later.
Reply:Quit freaking out. What are you going to do to change it? Get closer to the lord, that's the only thing you can control.
Reply:No its true and very scary.
Reply:It's because of this guy http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

Edit: LOL st.alia
Reply:Use your free time to more productive pursuits, not looking for evidence that the world is coming to an end.

Humanity has sought and found evidence of and have been preparing and waiting for the end since recorded history.

THAT is another problem with the current fundamentalists, waiting to die, or don't you believe in the rapture where all good Christians will be shot up to heaven and avoid all of the end times gore
Reply:Read Hebrews 1:1 in these last days God choose his Son to communicate with us. When Jesus died and rose again we started the blood covenant. We have been in the last days for 2000 plus years. To answer correctly we must research earthquakes prior to Christ death. Bottom line we have been in the last days a long time.
Reply:to see if the incidence of earthquakes are actually increasing we would need to know how many occurences there was in the past and compare it with today.

i don't think there is a record of all the earthquakes that have ever taken place, so we cannot know for sure if its occurence is increasing.
Reply:Isaiah said satyrs exist. I don't think the bible is a good place to look for facts.
Reply:Yes.

It's not hard to make a prediction like earthquakes will increase. Try giving us something a little harder. Pigs will fly or something....
Reply:No. The older the earth gets, the more stress on the plates. God, who knows everything, can add and subtract. He knows we are near the end. He put it in Matthew to warn us.
Reply:Nope. Not a coincidence as far as I'm concerned.
Reply:So you're saying that earthquakes are the result of the god from the Bible getting mad at people?
Reply:do you realize how many earthquakes there have been throughout history?

earthquake = tectonic plates moving, shifting, and bumping into one another, nothing more.
