Is paranoia a pre-requisite for being a conservative?

Cons won't believe the "liberal media", the "activist judges", teachers, university professors, academia, or mainstream historians and economists.





And now they won't believe scientific organizations like NASA, the U.S. Geological Survey, and the American Meteorological Society. One con even told me he won't believe anything coming from the government including the Census, the Bureau of Economic Analyses, the Treasury Department, or even the White House.

Is paranoia a pre-requisite for being a conservative?
Pretty much so. Conservatism is a magnet for loonies.
Reply:They are everywhere...libs are far reaching trying to push their truth instead of the real truth. They start by trying to brainwashing our kids with such crap as global warming or evolution, then when that doesnt work they move to the courts to try and mandate it...if that doesnt work they go to the media and idealize it...and finally if that dont work...they push their mularky ideas into government and try to legislate it.
Reply:Considering 15% of the country is liberal and socialist, they have to be somewhere. They flock to teaching because they cannot make it in the business world. I experience this repeatedly first hand.





They flock to work for the government because there is little accountability, especially compared to the private sector.





Liberals dominate academia, government schools, media, tv, radio (except talk radio), and movies.

Reply:Paranoia is the direct result of the Religious Right indoctrination they suffer from childhood.. If you are taught from birth to believe and have faith in a book put together by a few great and good and never question anything it becomes second nature.





These people are perfect fodder. Why do you think they gladly accept that most people who join the Military are conservatives. Who else would want to put their lives on the line for someone who would NEVER put their live on the line with all that Jingoistic love of country.

Reply:Go ahead and keep flattering yourself. Some of us view modern Liberalism in a very different light, Moonchild. It isn't so rosey when you're put out of business because of government regulations.





And the biggest problem with the Liberal mentality today, is that they are engaged in blaming everyone else for problems they created. Outsourcing? Blame Bush. Never consider how unions might have caused it. Or EPA regs. Or high taxes.





Modern Liberals have put themselves at odds with every US mainstay. And when it all falls down, they blame someone else.
